How We Prepare Our Food

At Skasenden Spiseri, we prepare our food from scratch.
We place great emphasis on quality ingredients, traditional methods, and respect for both flavour and nutritional value.

Our Method

When preparing meat, we use a multi-step cooking process:

  1. The meat is first seared in a pan to develop flavour

  2. It is then slow-roasted to achieve tenderness

  3. Before serving, the meat is finished using sous vide

This method ensures juicy meat, consistent quality and rich flavour.

Respect for the Ingredients

We focus on sustainability and aim to use as much of our ingredients as possible.

Very little goes to waste – leftovers are reused in further food preparation or used as animal feed.

 

The Result

The result is food that:

  • tastes better

  • retains more nutrients

  • is prepared with respect for the ingredients
