Explore Finnskogen – Guided Fishing Experiences

Explore Finnskogen has several skilled guides with extensive knowledge of fishing in the Finnskogen area. They offer guided fishing trips throughout the year, led by guides with deep local knowledge and broad fishing experience.

We are two young men in our twenties who grew up fishing on Finnskogen. As children we spent our days fishing for trout and perch using float and bait. These are memories we will never forget – and experiences we believe all children should have the chance to enjoy.

Today we spend most of our free time fly fishing, spinning and ice fishing. For us, the greatest thrill is the search for a trout over one kilo or the hunt for a large pike in a quiet and mysterious forest lake.

In recent years we have connected with several anglers within the Norwegian sport fishing community. Through this we have realised that great fishing in untouched nature is becoming increasingly rare, both in Norway and around the world. For a long time we have talked about sharing these wonderful nature experiences with others – and that is why we started Explore Finnskogen.

Fishing and Nature Experiences

We create memorable fishing and outdoor experiences based in the unique and mysterious nature of Finnskogen.

We also work closely with local businesses, creating positive effects for the local community. Our vision is to contribute strongly to the tourism industry in the region.

In cooperation with other local partners, we aim to make Finnskogen known across Europe as a unique fishing destination.
